At the Heart 

Did you ever notice how Yeshua rarely answered questions directly? He answered the question behind the question - the real question on his listeners’ hearts. For example, in Matthew 22:23-33, the Sadducees asked Yeshua about the woman who married seven brothers who all died before she could give birth to an heir, and they asked whose wife would she be? However, Yeshua saw their hearts. They were not asking for a halakhic ruling on levirate marriage; no, Yeshua cuts to the heart of their question: Would there be a resurrection? His answer is yes.
